Coming to visit
This is what the flat in Woking looks like from the outside. There’s an electronic gate on the left where I park my car behind the house. If you arrive before 11.30, you’ll need to approach these gates and press the buzzer so I can open the gates for you. Park on the side, rather than in a car parking slot, and I’ll come down to meet you.
The house again, on a quiet road…
The house name near the entrance…
The front entrance with colour video camera so I can see from my flat who is at the door. There are 12 flats in all inside…
There are red mailboxes inside for all the flats…
Here’s my dad behind the electronic gate into the private car park behind the flats…
And the car park area. My parking spot is the gap you see in the middle of the photo…
This is my car parking slot looking down from my living room window…
The entry hallway which takes you up to the second floor where my flat is located…
This is the living room…
The main bedroom…
The ensuite bathroom off the main bedroom…
The hallway between the living room and bedrooms…
The front door to the flat…
The second bedroom which is my office…
This is the electronic desk which raises and lowers so I can stand or sit at it to work. There’s a stepper unit near it so I can ‘climb stairs’ as I surf or type – or while I’m on the phone. Although every so often it squeaks, which is no good when I’m on a call!…
The main bathroom…
The kitchen…
Autumn leaves through the kitchen window…
This is the floor plan for the apartment…
This next image shows the room sizes. I’m in Apartment Twelve – which sounds posher than Flat 12 🙂 – but it’s Apartment Eleven in the original brochure…
