Tandem skydive
I did this tandem skydive around 1998. You’ll see one of the guys take a photo of me with a MindLab mind / light and sound machine which I sold by the thousands when I ran LifeTools, my mail order business in the UK.
Recommendation: graphic designer Wendy Barratt
If you’re looking for a very skilled graphic designer to design website header graphics, logos, ebook covers, banner ads, etc, I would highly recommend my dear friend Wendy Barratt who lives on the south coast of England.
She’s fun to work with, does a great job, and charges a fair price.

Case study: The Little Calm Machine
“Guru of calm” Paul Wilson has sold 10 million books as a result of the phenomenal success of The Little Book Of Calm.
A friend of mine, Howard Tinker, suggested I license Paul’s brand – so I met with Paul at his offices in Sydney, Australia, and soon after we signed up together.
My business sold 15,000 ‘light and sound’ devices in the UK by mail order, mostly at £250 ($400) each, and almost all of these were manufactured by an American business run by a wonderful man called Robert Austin who became a very dear friend.
With Robert we rebranded one of the light and sound devices he had designed, and I made an order for a shipment of units from him. Several months later I launched The Little Calm Machine.
It came with some specially-written exercises from Paul (see photo of him with me above), and a CD he created for the package called Guided Journeys Into Calm.

TV appearance: In Your Dreams documentary
A number of years ago I appeared in a documentary called In Your Dreams which was shown on national TV in the UK.
The documentary lasted 25 minutes, and I’ve selected a few minutes from it here: the part where a girl called Laura has been experiencing some troubling dreams.
She uses the Nova Dreamer lucid dream device which my business, LifeTools, was selling at the time, to help ease her symptoms…
TV appearance: Big Breakfast
The Big Breakfast was a wildly popular breakfast TV show on Channel 4 in the UK.
In this segment, Mark Liddle and Zoe Ball were the hosts. Vanessa Feltz also features.
Just before the end of the video you’ll see retired professional footballer and manager Rodney Marsh pour wine over a flame-throwing guy who wouldn’t have a bath when he got home at night.
