Talking at The Internet Marketing Meetup, London
Sarah Staar runs the Internet Marketing Networking and Training Meetup in London which meets every month. A while back she invited me to join the panel at the Meetup, to a packed house of 50 people.
Here is a video of my contributions to the discussion where I talked about following your own path to success, the importance of stepping out of your comfort zone to develop key relationships to help your business grow, the power of deadlines, and more…
Also on the panel with me was Rob Cornish, a lovely guy, who I have become very friendly with. He’s a superb presenter on the subject of internet marketing, and has a great site called Gain Higher Ground. Also, Geoff Alexander, who is an expert on all things Google. His site is here.
In the video above, I mention a site called FindTheEdge.co.uk where I was asked to create content, so I quickly created 8 videos just ahead of the website launch. As I say in the video, I love deadlines to get me to finish jobs!
Finally, a lovely guy called Mehraj Ahmed, offered to take photos of the event as he had his DSLR with him. Mehraj is Creative Director for The Pixel Chilli (a London-based company which creates videos, does corporate photography, and designs marketing campaigns).
Here are some photos he took (thanks Mehraj!)…

Me and Geoff…
Geoff gave me some great advice: “If so, you should…”…
I met with some great people afterwards…
If you live in London, do sign up to Sarah’s Meetup: the London Internet Marketers Group Meetup so you’ll get posted of upcoming dates, and if you see me there, come over and say hi. Sarah’s main site is here – and you’ll find details there of how to get hold of a recording of the entire 100-minute panel discussion.
